Telephone Feature Guide

Call Waiting
Lets you know when someone is calling when you are using the telephone.  You and the person you are talking with will hear a beep tone. If you ignore the first beep, there will be a second one in 10 seconds. The second party calling hears only the normal ringing. If you have Call Waiting, please see the information listed under Tone* Block.

How to use it:
If you hear a beep and want to end the first call, hang up.  Your telephone will immediately ring with the second call.

To hold a call and answer a waiting call:
1. Depress receiver button or flash button.
2. Listen for second dial tone.
3. Dial the Call Hold code(#4).
4. Your call is now on hold and you are connected to your waiting call.
5. To alternate between calls, repeat steps 1 to 3 as often as necessary.

Note: If the original party hangs up, you can add another third party by repeating steps 1,2 & 3.
