The world of communications is an exciting field to work in as it offers diverse and ever-expanding opportunities to students and professionals. A degree in The Department of Communication builds insights and skills ranging from communicating face-to-face through social media managing. Whether it's designing Web sites, leading groups, or being a television reporter, Clarion University graduates are prepared to go into the field upon graduation.
Our department offers a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a Master of Science in Mass Media Arts and Journalism. While studying in our program, you'll gain the theoretical background and hands-on experience needed to build a career in communication. We also offer a minor in speech communication and many of our students are also interested in the minor in leadership.
