ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE IN NURSING
Clarion's Associate of Science in Nursing Program offers both a comprehensive and intensive form of nursing education in a balanced curriculum of nursing and liberal arts. At the end of two years, the student will have earned an Associate of Science in Nursing degree and be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN).
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING
Clarion's Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program builds upon the background and knowledge attained in an A.S.N. or a diploma program. Its primary goal is to provide educational experiences designed to promote scientific inquiry, creative thinking, critical judgment, and professional development. Although the program is designed as a two-year curriculum for full-time students, individuals have the option of taking courses part-time after admission.
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING
Many nursing professionals are finding additional education a must for the ever-changing medical field. The Master of Science Program, offered in cooperation with Edinboro University, is designed so that students may attend part-time or full-time. Students can become either Family Nurse Practitioners or Nurse Educators by following this combined curriculum.
POST-MASTER'S CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
For individuals already holding a master's degree in nursing, options include a post-master's certificate as a FNP, which is individually designed for nurse practitioners certified in another specialty area, or a second master's degree in the FNP concentration or a post-master's certificate as an NE, both open to any master's-prepared nurse.
The nursing programs at Clarion University are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
