The Department of Communication, housed in Becker Hall and Marwick-Boyd Fine Arts Building, offers outstanding physical facilities.
Students will find expansive television facilities, including a large studio and control room along with portable and remote capability. Digital video editing suites, along with a large digital video lab, provide opportunities for students in classes, and those working in the student operated television studio (CU-TV), to produce and edit video. Clarion offers high definition television and film production equipment. Audio production facilities are also available, along with a student-operated FM radio station (WCUC FM91.7). Modern multimedia and publication design studios also are available, providing students the opportunity to work with the most current software.
