National Fuel Gas Company (NYSE:NFG) is a diversified energy company with its headquarters in Williamsville, New York and division operations in New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and California.  National Fuel is currently seeking a Compressor Engine Analyzer Foreman for an outstanding career opportunity at our Genesee, PA location. National Fuel is looking for exceptional candidates with demonstrated technical ability to identify and recommend solutions to correct engine and compressor problems by completing inspections on equipment and analyzing engine performance. Compressor Engine Analyzer Foreman is responsible for the following:

  • Gathering and interpreting engine/compressor analyzer data
  • Making recommendations to enhance engine performance
  • Interpreting oil sample and vibration analysis
  • Performing emissions compliance testing
  • Recommending appropriate predictive maintenance needs. Based on the results of their analysis, Compression Engine Analyzer Foremen are also responsible for directing the work of the Company’s maintenance mechanics. 

An Associate’s degree in a technical field is required. Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of engines (4 cycle and 2 cycle), compressors, regulators and other related controls and instrumentation is required. The ability to troubleshoot all types of mechanical equipment is required.  The successful candidates must possess exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving and organizational skills. Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting are desirable.  Formal engine and compressor analyzer degrees and/or certifications are a plus.
