Clarion University has chosen MAP-Works to provide our first years students with a great tool for success. MAP-Works starts with a survey that helps assist students in looking at their academic, social and transitional behaviors as they compare with the expectations that they have for themselves.
Participation in MAP-Works increases first year success:

Intervening: selected staff and faculty members will work with students who may benefit from assistance

Aligning: working with students to align their expectations with realistic outcomes

Involving: providing information to cultivate students' involvement

Transitioning: facilitate and assist with social and emotional transition in college
