Honors Colloquium

During the spring/summer of 2012, Dr. Philip Terman (Professor of English) and Dr. Brent Register (Professor of Music), both faculty with the Clarion University Honors Program, collaborated to create a new musical composition. The resulting work is "The Silence Flowering its Birdsong," a six-movement work for tenor, English horn, and piano. On the evening of November 10, both Terman and Register will be discussing their process with this collaboration, followed by the world premiere of this new composition. Performers include tenor Bryan Register (winner in the 2012 Liederkranz Vocal Competition), Brent Register on English horn, and pianist, Dr. Paula Amrod (Professor of Music).
