2012 Homecoming King Cody Rapp and Queen Sarah Kasanicky in the Autumn Leaf Festival parade.

Cody Rapp and Sarah Kasanicky reign as Clarion University's 2012 Homecoming King and Queen. They were introduced as homecoming royalty during halftime of the Homecoming football game Oct. 6 at Memorial Field.

Rapp, a senior liberal studies major, is a son of Harold and Lisa Rapp. Rapp is from Clarion and is sponsored by the Clarion University Student body.

Kasanicky, a senior early childhood/special education major, is a daughter of Joseph and Debbie Kasanicky. She is from Leechburg and is sponsored by Zeta Tau Alpha.

The Clarion University Student Body selected the homecoming court members through online voting. Only the senior candidates were eligible to be crowned king and queen.

The 18-member court rode in the Autumn Leaf Festival Parade Oct. 6 and were presented at halftime of that day's homecoming game against California.

The 2012 Clarion University Homecoming Court:

SENIORS:
Joshua Domitrovich, a senior majoring in industrial relations and management, is a son of Anthony and Jill Domitrovich. He is from DuBois and was sponsored by Clarion Student Senate.
Natasha Eger, a senior communications/public relations major, is a daughter of Raymond and Debbie Eger. She is from Meadville and was sponsored by Phi Delta Theta.
Bri Jefferson, a senior majoring in secondary education/biology, is a daughter of Lee Jefferson. She is from Lebanon, Pa., and was sponsored by Delta Phi Epsilon.
Cody McCandless, a senior history major, is a son of Robert and Laurie McCandless. He is from Grove City and is sponsored by Tau Kappa Epsilon.

JUNIORS:
Wesley Blackburn, a junior speech pathology and audiology major, is a son of Jeffrey and Rabara Blackburn. He is from Daisytown and was sponsored by Phi Sigma Sigma.
Courtney Magagnotti, a junior rehabilitative science major, is a daughter of George and Rebecca Magagnotti. She is from Kittanning and was sponsored by Sigma Chi Theta.
Shalynn Giovannitti, a junior communications/broadcasting major, is a daughter of Mark and Lynn Giovannitti. She is from Venetia and was sponsored by Phi Delta Theta.
Kyle Straub, a junior speech-language pathology and audiology major, is a son of Bill and Terri Kellar. He is from Punxsutawney and was sponsored by Phi Delta Theta.

SOPHOMORES:
Andrew Bourizk, a sophomore secondary education/history major, is a son of Sue and Sam Bourizk. He is from Allentown and was sponsored by Phi Delta Theta.
Jamal Dennis, a sophomore communications major, is a son of Maureen Epps. He is from Philadelphia and was sponsored by the Clarion University Student Body.
Maddie Robinson, a sophomore biology major with a pre-med concentration and a psychology minor, is a daughter of Terry and Diane Robinson. She was sponsored by Clarion Student Senate.
Chelsea Signorino, a sophomore communications/public relations major, is a daughter of Mark and Stephanie Signorino. She was sponsored by the National Broadcasting Society.

FRESHMEN:
Megan Beary, a freshman speech pathology major, is a daughter of Mike and Sandy Beary. She is from Shippenville and was sponsored by the Clarion University Student Body.
Courtney McMonagle, a freshman biology major, is a daughter of Stanley and Lynda McMonagle. She is from Tyrone and was sponsored by the Clarion University Student Body.
Torron Mollett, a freshman undecided major, is a son of Torre Mollett and Johnathan Bundy. He is from Pittsburgh and was sponsored by the Clarion University Student Body.
Joe Swan, a freshman physical education major, is a son of Karen Armstead. He is from Harrisburg and was sponsored by the Clarion University Student Body.

SPECIAL EVENTS CHAIR:
Rachel Charles, a sophomore special education major, is a daughter of Steve and Andrea Bennage and Michael and Samantha Charles. She is from Picture Rocks.

UAB PRESIDENT:
Herman Harry Locke IV, a junior communications major with a focus in advertising, is a son of Herman Locke III and Christine Spotts. He is from Pittsburgh.
