You could say that collectors have a disease, a mania fueled by desire, it is that feeling of 'gotta have it' RIGHT NOW . -Vicky Clark, Gallery Director
"Gotta Have It" features a variety of things collected by a variety of collectors, ranging from Pez dispensers to Japanese prints. This show is the first in a yearly series on collecting that will bring examples, mainly of contemporary art, from personal, public, and private collections in the region. Some featured collectors are Lucy Stewart who has almost every piece of Kensington ware, the home collection made of aluminum for Alcoa, Tom Dell who has amassed a group of about 50 model Brownie cameras, and Michael Henderson who owns 357 teapots.
