Erin Lewis (‘01, M.Ed. ‘06) and Diana Brush, assistant director and interim director, respectively, of Clarion University Career Development Center, recently presented at the PASSHE Student Affairs Conference, “Pioneering Initiatives to Enhance Student Success,” at Edinboro University.
Lewis and Brush presented the knowledge session, “Marketing Your Programs Through Innovative Collaborations,” which highlighted how the CU Career Development Center has built and maintained successful partnerships with student organizations.
Brush presented "Teaching Students Effective Leadership Practices Through Parliamentary Procedure,” an interactive session that introduced the basic principles of parliamentary procedure for advising student organizations and touched on how leaders engage The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership (from “The Leadership Challenge” by Kouzes and Posner) in effective meetings.
