Online Master of Science in Rehabilitative Science
This 33-credit program is designed for busy adults who cannot travel to campus due to distance, jobs or family responsibilities. You can earn your graduate degree in as little as two years without ever having to come to on campus.
The Online Master of Science in Rehabilitative Sciences is intended for students who are pursuing careers in human services. Students in this program typically work with:
- Individuals diagnosed with mental health problems
- Individuals diagnosed with substance abuse problems
- Elderly citizens
- Those with developmental disabilities in community or residential/correctional settings
- Governmental or nongovernmental human service agencies
Coursework covers research, intervention strategies, philosophy and principles of rehabilitation, administration and other subjects. Because the program is not a clinical degree (leading to licensure as a professional counselor), it does not require practicum experiences. Normally, it can be completed in two years.
