Student Organizations

Clarion Students Educating Young Children

Clarion Students Educating Young Children provides students with opportunities to experience interaction with children helping them learn and grow. We organize activities and events for children that are educational and developmentally appropriate. We reach out to the community and share our support for the education of young children.

The organization is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children.

The group meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in 203 Stevens. The advisor is Lou Ann Bonnett and the president is Erin Drayer.

Student Council for Exceptional Children

The Student Council for Exceptional Children is a student run organization advocating for people who experience disabilities. The organization is beneficial to those seeking a dual degree because it offers many professional development activities and community service opportunities. The Student Council for Exceptional Children meets at 7 p.m. Mondays in room 5 of the Special Education building.
