Do you try to stay healthy? Exercise? Eat organic products? Look for natural ingredients? If you avoid things that can undermine your health, is there an alternative to substance-intensive contraceptive methods that have unhealthy side effects as well as failure rates?
The Newman Association invites you to the last talk of the semester on sexuality from a Catholic perspective. On Nov. 20 at 7 pm. in 114 Founders Hall, Certified Natural Family Planning instructors, Dr. Miguel and Ms. Xhonane Olivas, will explain the basics of NFP, a family of science-based methods that are healthy, effective, inexpensive, respect women's dignity and have been found to correlate with increased communication and intimacy among practicing couples.
The presentation is free and open to the public. For information email Tom Rourke.
Note: This is the family planning discussion that was originally scheduled for Nov. 18.
