Shalynn Giovannitti of Venetia and Kyle Straub of Punxsutawney were crowned Clarion University Homecoming 2013 queen and king during Sept. 28 festivities.

The Clarion University student body selected the homecoming court members through online voting. Only the senior candidates were eligible to be crowned king and queen. The 18-member court rode in the Autumn Leaf Festival parade Saturday and were presented during halftime of Clarion's football game against Gannon.
