Clarion University invites high school seniors and students wanting to transfer to Clarion University to an open house Nov. 16. Check-in is from 9:15 to 9:55 a.m. at Gemmell Student Center. Pre-registration is encouraged by visiting www.clarion.edu/visitus or by calling 800-672-7171 (ext. 1). Pre-registered students will receive confirmation materials and a campus map.

Bring a completed paper admissions application (or fill one out upon arrival) and have your application fee waived. Bring transcripts with SAT/ACT scores, and we will review your application while you are here.

Sessions include:

  • 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. – University Life and Learning Fair: Meet with representatives from Honors, Campus Life, Academic Enrichment and Admissions.

  • 9:55 to 10:15 a.m. – Financial Aid: Learn more about the financial aid process.

  • 10:20 a.m. – Welcome by Dr. Karen Whitney, Clarion University president.

  • 10:30 a.m. – Admissions presentation:

    • Admissions procedures and policies;

    • Financial aid overview;

    • Student Life;

    • Academic Information – Meet with campus deans to learn more about your academic major.

  • 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. – Campus tour.

Optional afternoon activities are:

  • 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Enjoy lunch in Eagle Commons dining facility. Cost is $3; tickets are available at check-in.

  • 12:30 to 3 p.m. – Tour Reinhard Villages apartments (tours on the half hour).

  • Explore the Clarion community.
