Welcome to Clarion Career Connections - Your new Career Management System!

Student Account Registration Information

  • Students who enrolled on or after Fall 2013: Your account has already been created but the first time you log-in,  you will need to complete your personal profile, academic profile, and privacy pages. 

  • Click here to view the Student User's Guide - Account Login and Profile Completion Steps for a step-by-step guide to logging in to your account.

  • Click https://c25-shib.symplicity.com/sso/ to log-in to the secure Clarion University Web Single Sign-On Login Page.  Enter your University Single Sign-On Username and Password in the respective boxes.  After logging in, you will be directed to the Clarion Career Connections site.

Alumni Account Registration Information 

  • Alumni who graduated December 2013 or later, log-in using your student account (previous paragraph) and then change your status from student to alumni.

  • Alumni who graduated prior to Fall 2013 - an account has NOT been created for you.  

  • Click here to register and then create an Alumni account profile in Clarion Career Connections.

How can I use the Clarion Career Connections career management system?

  • Home - Announcements and quick links to manage your career plan and job or internship search.

  • My Profile - Complete or update your personal demographics, academic status, and privacy settings.

  • Calendar  - Find webinars, job fairs, campus recruiting and much more!

  • Events  - On campus events such as career fairs, workshops, and employers conducting on-campus interviews for internships and full-time jobs.

  • My Documents - Upload your resume electronically to apply for jobs or be searched by employers.

  • Jobs - Search for current full-time, internship, part-time, campus, summer/seasonal  employment, graduate assistantships and volunteer opportunities.

  • Employers - Search over 4000 organizations registered in the system seeking Clarion students/alumni for their opportunities.

  • Interviews - Manage your campus recruiting interview application and schedule.

  • Resources - Explore Careers and review career resources.

How can I get help using Clarion Career Connections?

  • Call 814-393-2323, or stop by CDC in 114 Egbert Hall  for assistance. 

  • Note: This system is best accessed for the first time through a hard-wired connection.  If you encounter problems, clear your cache and try again.

  • Post a resumé. Although you can access summer/seasonal, internship, and full-time opportunities after simply registering on CCC, employers tell us that it is frustrating when a student/alumnus does not include a resumé. They want detailed information about your qualifications and most likely will not contact individuals who do not provide it. We highly recommend that you take time to post your resumé if you want to be seriously considered by employers.

  • Prior to posting your resume, send it to resumes@clarion.edu for a review by our resume review team or schedule an appointment to have it reviewed in person or virtually by calling 814-393-2323.  Online resume development assistance is available at www.clarion.edu/12717.  Important!  Uploaded resumes that have not been reviewed by the career development center may take an additional 3-5 business days to process.  If your resume requires many changes, it may delay approval.

  • When you update your resumé, be sure to upload the new resumé to your online account.

  • Update your account profiles at the end of each semester.

  • Update your "anticipated" college graduate date on your account profile.  Employers often search for candidates by Graduate Date.  If you do not list your anticipated college graduation date, you may miss out on opportunities.

  • Don't register twice. If you are unable to access your account, give us a call. The Career Development Center can check for you.  Students enrolled Fall 2013 or later, upon graduation do not create a new alumni account.  Simply, change your student account status to alumni in the academic profile page.

Why are we using Clarion Career Connection (CCC)?

  • The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education partners with Clarion Career Connection that enables the 14 SSHE career services offices to provide online services to students, alumni, and employers. Clarion University is part of this collaborative project.

Due to the volume of job announcements posted to the PA State System universities, Clarion University's Career Development Center is unable to research the integrity of each person or organization that lists an internship or job on Clarion Career Connection's database. Therefore, students and alumni should personally research openings and organizations prior to submitting a resume to an organization or entering into any employment agreements.
