BS, Medical Imaging Sciences Curriculum

The curriculum outline below details the science and general education course work required for all concentrations within the BS, Medical Imaging Sciences degree program.  Course work does not necessarily have to be completed in the order shown below.  Required course work is subject to change.  Degree completion students should see the notes that follow the curriculum plan at the bottom of this page.

Students must also earn or transfer in from a properly-accredited medical imaging sciences educational program 60 clinical credits.  Clinical credits are evaluated for transfer by the Department of Allied Health and are awarded at the discretion of the Department of Allied Health.

Science and general education course work may be completed on a full- or part-time basis.  Students who complete the medical imaging sciences program on campus typically spend two years (four academic semesters) completing the science and general education requirements of the degree.

Degree Completion Students

Students who complete the medical imaging sciences degree as an online degree completion option are required to complete the courses listed below in place of BIOL 258, BIOL 259, and PHSC 112:

PHSC 117, Exploration of Physical Science:  Physics and Astronomy, 3 credits
