Introduction

Computing Services is pleased to continue the Lynda.Com pilot for 2017.  With this pilot, Clarion University Faculty and Staff have access to a vast library of instructional videos covering a wide variety of software products.  Various other videos are also available for other general topics like project management and communication skills.   Each course is taught by topic experts and consists of multiple short videos that can be watched from your computer or mobile device.

how can i access the training?

With this pilot program, the university has a limited number of training licenses available under a "simultaneous use" model.  Access to the training will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be available for three weeks (with extensions and repeat requests available based on availability and other requests).

To request a Lynda.Com training account, please complete the Clarion Lynda.Com Training Account Request form    (login required).  [Please note that requests are limited to current university faculty and staff]

In response to a given request, you will receive a follow-up e-mail that will detail the account login information, dates, and access instructions to utilize the service.  While your Clarion Lynda.Com training account is active, you can complete an unlimited number of training courses from the full list of courses on the Lynda.Com site.
