Student Account Registration Information - Currently enrolled students ONLY

  • Student Log-in:   This is the secure Clarion University Web Single Sign-On Log-in Page. The first time you log-in, you will initiate your account by completing your personal profile, academic profile, and privacy setting pages.

  • For currently enrolled students and recent graduates (account log-in active for one year after graduation), please enter your MyClarion Username and Password in the respective boxes. 

Alumni Account Registration Information 

  • Alumni Log-in:  The first time you log-in, you will need to complete your personal profile, academic profile, and privacy setting pages. Create your own password.
    Don't register twice. If you are unable to access your account, call us.  Students enrolled Fall 2013 or later, upon graduation do not create a new alumni account.  Simply, change your student account status to alumni in the academic profile page.

How can I use the handshake career management network?

  •  Learn about On campus career fairs, workshops, and employers visiting campus.

  • Search for current full-time, internship, part-time, campus, summer/seasonal  employment, graduate assistantships and volunteer opportunities.

  • Find thousands of employers and agencies registered in the system seeking Clarion students/alumni for their opportunities.

  • Manage your campus recruiting interview application and schedule.

How can I get help using handshake?

  • Call +1 814 393 2323, or stop by 419 Becht Hall for assistance. 

Tips for Using handshake

  • Post a resumé. Although you can access summer/seasonal, internship, and full-time opportunities, employers tell us that it is frustrating when a student/alumnus does not include a resumé. They want detailed information about your qualifications and most likely will not contact individuals who do not provide it. We highly recommend that you take time to post your resumé if you want to be seriously considered by employers.

  • Prior to posting your resume, send it to resumes@clarion.edu for a review by our resume review team or schedule an appointment to have it reviewed in person or virtually by calling +1 814 393 2323.  Uploaded resumes that have not been reviewed by the career development center may take an additional 3-5 business days to process.  If your resume requires many changes, it may delay approval.
