The Real Estate program is a pragmatic program designed to give students multiple project opportunities indicative of the experiences seen in the profession.  In addition to preparing students for careers in Real Estate Finance, Property Management, Real Estate Investments, and Real Estate Appraisal, the program also meets the educational requirements to become licensed as a real estate salesperson or real estate broker in most states throughout the country.

The Real Estate Program has two tracks.  The General Real Estate Track is the track for most careers in Real Estate.  The core of this track is Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Investments, and Real Estate Appraisal.  In addition to these core courses, the student may take additional coursework in Property Management, Real Estate Brokerage, and/or a selection of courses from finance, marketing, management, accounting, and economics.

The Real Estate Paralegal track focuses upon the coursework necessary to be a paralegal specialist in real estate.  It also is an excellent preparation for those aspiring to go to law school.  A student completing their degree with the Real Estate Paralegal track will have a significant advantage during their first year in law school.  In addition, for most law firms, the business background will be invaluable.
