A.A.S. Administration Technology

Students completing the Business Office Professional Training Program will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in administration technology from Clarion University. Today's business office is highly automated, thanks to computer networks and advanced software. Business professionals need higher level abilities to perform computerized accounting, communications, human resource, customer service and marketing tasks. Combined with word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills, the graduate is prepared for an entry-level position in a modern business organization. You will also be able to round out your skills by being able to perform basic PC upgrades and maintenance, as well as operate office equipment and keep the books. Under this unique model, students complete general education and business courses at Venango campus or online and the technical component of the degree through licensed, certified and/or otherwise approved technical education providers.

A.A.S. Industrial Technology

The Associate of Applied Science in industrial technology degree program utilizes a creative partnership approach designed to prepare students for a career path leading to a wide range of opportunities. Clarion University is the first university in northwestern Pennsylvania to offer an associate degree in industrial technology. Under this unique model, student's complete general education and business courses at Venango campus or online and complete the technical component of the degree through licensed, certified and/or otherwise approved technical education providers.

B.A.S. Technology Leadership

The Bachelor of Applied Science in technology leadership is a degree completion program that is appropriate for graduates of Clarion’s Associate of Applied Science in industrial technology and similar programs at other institutions. The curricular combination of coursework and field experiences in leadership development, business, and advanced technology will serve to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills of graduates necessary to advance in their professions. The program prepares students to assume management and leadership positions, building on technical skill sets obtained at the associate degree level and providing online leadership and management courses in the junior and senior year. This program is offered at Venango campus and online.
