One-Year Program

The Clarion University IEP is a non-degree program that will immerse students in a US university setting during the academic school term. Students will follow the regular academic calendar for the fall and spring semesters (15 weeks each semester) and then attend a 13-week summer semester.

IEP students are eligible to receive many specialized international student services such as:

  • International student advisors are available to provide assistance with pre-arrival information, to assist with processing of applications and to ensure compliance with immigration requirements and regulations for students issued "F" and "J" visas, and to provide assistance with cultural adjustment and other issues faced by international students.
  • The Office of International Programs provides an extensive and comprehensive international student orientation, which makes adjustment to university life in the United States much easier. The Clarion International Association offers many social activities and provides students an opportunity to share their culture with the Clarion community as well as opportunities to meet U.S. students.
  • Students will have opportunities for visits to U.S. cities (i.e. Pittsburgh, New York, Washington D.C.) for cultural events, shopping, and sight seeing.
