Charles L. Suhr Library at Clarion University – Venango

Welcome to Suhr Library

Two Library Technicians, and student assistants provide library service to students and faculty at the Charles L. Suhr Library, located at Clarion University – Venango in Oil City. We support bachelor's and associate degree programs and General Education courses that are taught locally and through Clarion University – Online.

Suhr's print collections are supplemented by those of Carlson Library on Clarion campus. Both collections are cataloged in one on-line catalog.  The libraries are able to share their resources through a courier service and through electronic document delivery services.

Print resources at Suhr Library have been greatly enhanced through subscriptions to indexing and full-text databases which are available through the World Wide Web.

The Suhr Library provides convenient and comfortable spaces to study as well as public access computer terminals, laptop computers, and iPads.
