Six Clarion University students have been awarded the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties Fall 2019 Scholarship. Each will receive a $500 scholarship to use toward expenses for the fall semester.
Recipients and the categories in which they were awarded are:
- Parker Sprenger, communication major from Indiana, Pa., APSCUF child category;
- Rebecca Lewis, graduate student in finance and business management from West Springfield, graduate student category;
- Olivia Wissinger, secondary ed/math major from Renfrew, senior student category;
- Lindsay Morris, early childhood education major from Claysville, junior student category;
- Aimee Haslet, speech-language pathology major from Tionesta, freshman/sophomore student category;
- McKenzie Rodriguez, secondary ed/English major from Sevenfield, at-large category.
The recipients were chosen from 50 applicants. Criteria are: minimum QPA of 3.2; participation and leadership in campus and community service organizations; and submission of a one-page narrative outlining goals and objectives for the future.
