BizPitch 2019 Important Dates

Sept. 16 Registration Opens: Register at www.clarion.edu/bizpitch before October 21st.

Oct. 14 Starbucks: Meet with the BizPitch Committee at Starbucks from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM to learn more about BizPitch!

Oct. 21 Registration Closes: BizPitch Registration closes.

Nov. 4 & 6 Prelims: The Preliminary Round will take place on November 4th and 6th in the SOMN Theater from 6:00-9:00 PM. Contestants will present their product or business venture idea in private to a panel of judges. The presentation should be a 5-7 minute creative, compelling, and concise summary of a proposed, new, or recently launched product or service. A 5 minute question and answer session will follow with the panel of judges. The preliminary round is closed to the public.

Nov. 8 Notification: A notification will be sent out via email to contestants notifying them of their qualification for the final round.

Nov. 20 Final Event!: The final round of the BizPitch Competition will take place in the SOMN Theater at 6:30 PM. The top five contestants will present their product or business venture idea to a panel of judges. A question and answer session will follow. The top three contestants will be awarded the monetary prizes and the audience and online audience will choose the “Fan Favorite” prize. The final event is open to the public and will be live streamed online.
