The Center for Leadership and Involvement would like to welcome everyone back for another Eagletastic year! The contest will run all year, and the trophy will be passed on at the Reinhard Awards.

Welcome back for an exciting year of the RSO Spirit Contest! This year the Spirit Contest will be bigger and better!
March and April Events
March 12th – Step Challenge 6-7 p.m. in the Rec
Come out to the rec center and walk a few laps and earn some points for your organization. 5 Points will be given per lap to the organizations that participate
200 pts for attendance, 5 pts per lap
March 24th-29th – Spring Photo Contest (Submissions)
Have your organization snap a creative picture with your organizations advisor.
100 pts for submission, 1st place 100 pts, 2nd place 75 pts, 3rd place 50 pts
March 31st – April 5th – Spring Photo Contest (Voting)
Hop on Facebook and vote for your organizations picture to win first place! More information on how to vote will be included in the CU Connect blast!
April 12th– Community Service Day check-in from 9-9:30 a.m.
Help out the community and score some serious points by volunteering at the Spring Community Service Day! Pre-registration is required for this event

April 14th-25th– Penny Wars
Start looking on the ground for pennies; they could be worth a party! From April 14th till the 25th, every RSO and academic department will battle it out for the title of ‘Champion’ of the second annual ‘CUP Penny War’ contest.
Each group needs to have an enclosed container with their name on it. One point is received for every penny in the container. However, you may put other coins or bills into the containers of OTHERS, which reduces the number of points by the amount of the coin. Containers are to be submitted to Kelly Ryan in 265 Gemmell
Student Complex by 3:00 pm on Friday, April 25th. All totals will be released at the Reinhard Awards , where
the winners will be granted a party sometime after that.
Penny – 1 point
Nickel – minus 5 points
Dime – minus 10 points
Quarter – minus 25 points
Dollar – minus 100 points
300 points (1st place), 250 points (2nd place), 200 points (3rd place), 150 points (4th place)
April 26th– Come Together Clarion
Come together with the community for a day of fun and games. Different organizations will have activities and tables with information about how to get more involved in the Clarion community.
200 pts for attendance, 200 for hosting a table, 200 for best table contest winner
April 30th – Reinhard Awards 7 p.m.
Come see if your hard work payed off! The winner of the Spirit Contest will be announced at this event! Come enjoy an evening of awards and see how your hard work payed off!
Anytime Events
RSOs may still obtain bonus points in any or all of the following three ways:
1) Host a campus wide event - Did your organization hold an event of any kind that was open to the university community?
2) Community service project - Has your organization been making an impact throughout the Clarion community? Did you create or participate in a service project this semester?
3) Philanthropy initiative or fund raising project - Did your RSO raise money for
a special cause that pertains to your organization or is important to your members?
If your answer to any of the above questions is "yes" please download the forms on the right side of this page to get your spirit points for these activities!
Forms for activities held during the 2013-2014 academic year must be turned in Friday, April 27, 2014. Each RSO/RUO may turn in one form in each category for each semester.
Please note any RSO participating will receive an additional amount of points for holding a program where all of the campus community can attend. One is permitted per semester. Also, check your RSO e-mail for additional Spirit Contest events and info.
