Residence Life Programs



There are many activities in our campus suites and apartments which aid in the development of leadership skills and provide opportunities for learning and socialization. The hall staff, Hall Council and Inter-Hall Council members work with residents to build community on the floor and within the hall. A wide variety of social, educational, recreational, multi-cultural and current social issue programs are provided for students to enjoy. Highlights of some of our programs include:

Area Coordinator: There are three Area Coordinators who oversee  administrative duties, advise student organizations, and supervise the Community Assistants (CA) within their assigned hall(s).  They also assume responsibility for departmental activities.

Community Assistants:  Community assistants (CA) live on each  wing of the residence halls.  They have been trained to provide students  with information about Clarion University, help students resolve  personal issues, plan programs and activities for the residents, and  ensure the safety and security of the building. To become a Community  Assistant, complete the application and return to Residence Life  Services, 236 Egbert.
