B.S.B.A. Marketing

Clarion University’s B.S.B.A. in Marketing is accredited by AACSB International and features a modern, digitally-oriented marketing curriculum which is taught by a well-qualified and diverse faculty. Digital concepts and skills are stressed throughout the marketing curriculum so the student will be well prepared to enter the business world. Students learn user experience, UX design elements, digital marketing, social media content creation, marketing research, persona building, journey mapping, online advertising, business analytics, branding, A/B testing, search engine optimization, personal selling process, Big Data, and data visualization, among other skills. Clarion's program in marketing has been designed to prepare students for careers in advertising, non-profit marketing, marketing research, data analytics and the management of digital marketing, products, promotions, brand, social media, content, physical distribution, retailing, and general marketing. More than 93 percent of our recent graduates secured employment in their chosen field within 30 days of graduation. This degree is only offered at the Clarion campus.

Minor in Marketing

The marketing minor is intended to provide students with valuable knowledge concerning advertising, consumer research and selling, as well as other activities related to the transfer of goods and services from seller to buyer. The marketing minor will complement the student's major by allowing them to acquire skills in marketing subjects such as advertising, marketing research, general marketing, and more. This minor will aid students with a variety of career interests, regardless of if those career interests are solely business related. This minor is offered only at the Clarion campus.
