Register now for the Online 2021 Tax and Professional Development Seminars starting Nov. 2.

The seminars begin with the 2021 Federal Tax Update for Businesses with a four-hour morning course, Tuesday, Nov. 2, at a cost of $90. This built-from-scratch seminar delivers up-to-the-day changes in federal tax law affecting businesses. Delivered at a brisk pace and with humor, the course is designed to meet the needs of the tax planner and return preparer by identifying and responsibly exploring recent important tax developments.

The second seminar, Strategies and Mechanics After IRS Notice 2021-49: Cases and Examples begins Tuesday, Nov. 2, with a four-hour afternoon course at a cost of $90. The speaker is Bradley Burnett. Recent surveys indicate over half of tax practitioners have not yet filed an Employee Retention Credit claim on Form 941. More than 75 percent have not yet filed a retroactive claim on Form 941-X. We'll show you how to push it all through and maximize both PPP forgiveness and ERC.

The third seminar, 2021 Federal Tax Update for Individuals and Businesses is an eight-hour course Wednesday, Nov. 3, at a cost of $175. Gain all of the insights from the Federal Tax Update for Businesses course described at left, plus changes in federal tax law affecting individuals. The course is designed to meet the needs of return preparers, tax planners and taxpayers desiring to keep up with late-breaking tax developments.

The Accounting and Auditing Seminar will be held Friday, Nov. 8. The eight-hour course is $175 and features speaker Daniel Bradley. This session will provide meaningful explanations and examples to those responsible for performing preparation, compilation, reviews, audits and/or attestation engagements as well as those in industry
undergoing the various identified engagements. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of how recent changes in authoritative professional standards will impact both accountants working in industry as well as the outside auditors/accountants.

The ServSafe® course, conducted by Penn State Extension, is for individuals preparing for the exam. After attending the ServSafe® class(es) and passing the proctored, multiple-choice exam with a score of 75% or higher, participants will receive a ServSafe® certificate, which meets the PDA requirement for food safety certification.
