Presidential 500 Day Plan Status Report – February 2013 I’m pleased to share V.2 of my 500-Day Plan that will guide my efforts from October 2012 to May 2014. It reflects Clarion University’s mission, vision, and strategic goals that were established as a result of our 2011-2012 strategic directions initiative and articulates priorities related to success, equity and diversity, civic engagement, leadership, and financial sustainability. The Presidential 500-Day Plan presents five dimensions of presidential priorities along with specific actions that will be taken to achieve desired results. Following the completion of my first 500-Day Plan in May 2012, I assessed progress in the areas of academic advancement, campus climate, civic engagement, financial stewardship, and institutional leadership and released in July 2012 a review of the extent to which the desired results were achieved.
