Student Recreation Center Facility Rental Information
For external groups and organizations to request space, contact the Office of Conference and Event Services clarion.edu/1121. This includes all activities that are considered non university sponsored events even if a faculty or staff member happens to be affiliated with the requesting group call (814) 393-2705 :or contact Chad Thomas at 814-393-1859 and ask for the external group request facility usage form and fax it back to 393-2509. Insurance & a deposit is required.
A Facilities Usage Request Form will need to be completed and returned to the Conference and Events office 14 working days prior to the day or your event.Several Areas of the facility are available for rent:
One, Two or sometimes three full-size basketball courts that can be used for Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer, Hockey, basketball, relay races, dodgeball, whiffleball, kickball, football, tug of war, etc. Several bleachers for spectator seating, electronic scoreboards and microphone.
Climbing wall with 7 Belay Stations - The climbing wall rate is very reasonable. No charge for parents, grandparents not participating in the activities. Youth 12 and under parent/guardian must be present in the building and have direct supervision.
Party Room - Meeting room where cake and ice cream may be served - ping pong and air hockey, wii games and mini basketball.
Aerobics /Dance room - with a wooden floor and CD/DVD Player
