Mark Lepore, Ed.D., LPC, LCSW
Clinical Coordinator/Counselor
Mark Lepore joined Counseling Services in August, 2009. He is the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor for Counseling Services. He received his M.S.W. from WVU and a doctorate in Counselor Education from Duquesne University. In addition, he has five educational certificates that include: principal K-6; principal 7-12; school counselor K-6; school counselor 7-12; and home school visitor. The Commonwealth of PA licenses Lepore as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor. His interest areas include crisis intervention, grief and loss, counseling and prevention of at-risk activities. He is also a Mental Health Trainer for the American Red Cross and he has provided service in several national disaster sites including the events of 911, Hurricane Katrina, and the California Wildfires.
Nchima Masiye, M.S.
Counselor
Nchima Masiye joined the counseling services staff in September 2011 and serves Clarion Campus. She obtained her B.S. in psychology from Clarion University. Nchima received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh. She also holds a School Counseling and Guidance (K-12) Certificate. Nchima's interest areas include difficulty with transitions, adjustment disorders, academic issues, and family and relationship issues. She has experience working with international students dealing with integration issues and inter-racial dating issues.
Heather Simons, M.A., LPC
Counselor
Heather Simons joined the counseling services staff in September 2011 and serves Clarion Campus. She obtained her B.S. in social work from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Heather received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Indiana University. She also holds the credentials of Licensed Professional Counselor. Heather's primary experience is with individuals who have diagnoses of anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD and adjustment disorders.
Darsell M. Harris, M.A., LPC, NCC
Counselor
Darsell M. Harris joined the counseling services staff in February 2012 and serves at the Venango Campus. She is currently credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Geneva College where she earned her M.A. in counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling. She completed her undergraduate training at Clarion University with a B.S. in Psychology. She has experience working in both state and private sector treatment facilities. She has provided treatment to adolescent sex offenders, adolescent violent offenders, and both adolescent and adult populations that suffer with substance addictions and trauma. She also has professional work experience as a community crisis counselor. Her professional and academic interest include Multicultural Counseling and Supervision, Marriage and Family Counseling, and Adjustment Disorders.
