LSS Technology resources are located in G60 Becker Hall and supported by the Learning and Technology Center, a unit of Computing Services. Short-term loans of limited electronic equipment are available for events and instructional use. The Conference and Event Services office coordinates the use of equipment for events and other non-instructional activities. All borrowings must be related to valid University activities.
Students of the Department of Communication, actively enrolled in a class requiring the use of equipment, have use of still and video cameras, tripods, and various audio equipment subject to class requirements.
Faculty and staff can reserve video projectors, laptops, and digital cameras for instructional use. Please note that video cameras are not available for loan. In order to check out equipment the requestor must pick up and return the equipment. There is no on site delivery available.
Please take time to read the policies and procedures for borrowing equipment.
Hours of Operation (G60 Becker Hall):
An online form is available to reserve equipment and must be submitted at least 3 days prior to needed date(s). Requests for equipment must come from university faculty or staff. First priority for equipment will be given to requests supporting academic instruction. Once a request is received, it will be reviewed for availability and a confirmation will be sent to the person making the request.
