Checklist for Adult Learners

  1. Visit the campus or call and speak with an admissions staff member to discuss any questions that you have
  2. Apply to Clarion
  3. Arrange to have official documents from all of your schooling sent to Clarion’s Admissions Office, 840 Wood St., Clarion University of PA, Clarion, PA  16214.
    This includes:
    • Official High School Transcript or GED score
    • Any transcripts from trade schools, proprietary schools, military trainings, colleges or universities completed post high school/GED, AP and CLEP
  4. Review Clarion’s Prior Learning Credit policies and take action if you feel that Life Experience credit could be earned
  5. Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for grants
  6. Keep in touch with the Admissions Office for guidance through your process up to enrollment in your first semester
  7. Students with advanced standing should schedule classes with advisement from their department
  8. Attend a S.O.A.R. orientation session
