Dr. Kevan Yenerall, professor of political science, has contributed a chapter to the recently published political science text, “Shakespeare and Politics: What a 16th Century Playwright Can Tell Us About 21st-Century Politics,” edited by Bruce Altschuler and Michael Genovese. Yenerall’s chapter is entitled “Absurdity and Amateur Hour in the American Political Forest: A Midsummer Night's Dream and the Nightmare of Polarization.” 

The book contains 12 chapters written by different authors that offer insight into contemporary political themes including power and leadership, corruption and virtue, and war and peace, through the scope of William Shakespeare’s plays.
