Virtual Students

Welcome to Clarion University's "Ask a Counselor" service, a convenient way for you to connect via email to a licensed professional counselor.  Complete the Counseling Services for Online Students form and let us know what your concerns are.  We will provide general information for your questions about counseling, mental health and stress.  This service should be used for an exchange of information, and is not to be used in place of face-to-face mental health treatment.

Some possible questions to ask may be related to:

  • Stress management
  • Problems that seem to be interfering with academics
  • Not sure what to major in and cannot decide what to do for a career
  • Worry about tests and academics
  • Trouble getting organized
  • Trouble staying focused
  • Feeling overwhelmed
  • Anxiety management
  • Relationship problems
  • Relaxation and self care
  • Mental health problems
  • Feeling sad or depressed

Please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you are experiencing a mental health crisis, having suicidal thoughts, or thinking of harming yourself or someone else.
