All official news releases and media relations relating to sports are coordinated and issued through this department. Clarion’s intercollegiate athletics is also represented on a Clarion sports web site maintained by this department. The full-time Sports Information Director and Assistant Director work closely with the Athletic Director and coaches. The department is also responsible for the coordination of statistical reports required by the NCAA.
