In addition to offering many vibrant academic opportunities, Clarion University provides
a wide range of activities outside the classroom. After all, coming to Clarion isn't
just about earning a degree; it's also about building a life.
And it's not hard to discover your interests and talents with more than 150 student organizations on campus. These include academic, athletic, Greek, political, multicultural, service, and other special interest groups. To explore the full list of Clarion student organizations, visit our CU Connect network.
If you're looking for something more physical, don't forget the student recreation center near Gemmell Student Complex for exercise equipment, an indoor track, basketball courts and a rock climbing wall. Intramurals, club sports and outdoor recreation also are based at the rec center.
If you don't play sports, become Clarion University's biggest fan by rooting for your
favorite Clarion athletic teams.
The university also is invested in the overall wellness of its students with health services, counseling services and other health activities in Becht Hall.
When you're ready to wind down, rest at one of our many living options including Suites on Main, Hilltop Suites and Reinhard Villages. Combined with Eagle Commons dining center, Gemmell Food Court, Carlson Library Café, Starbucks and university coffee shops, students enjoy life here.
Outside of your campus pursuits, the town of Clarion boasts a vibrant downtown with many interesting shops and eateries. All of this is set against the scenic backdrop of the Clarion River and nearby Cook Forest. Both have inviting hiking trails, swimming, canoeing and kayaking opportunities and stunning wildlife to observe.
