Clarion students are busy and enthusiastic. They're busy taking part and leading more than 140 student groups on campus including recognized student organizations, Greek organizations, University Activities Board, Student Senate and a variety of other leadership initiatives.

Get connected with all of the various organizations through our CU Connect site where Recognized Student Organizations post about upcoming meetings and events.

Want to join a fraternity or sorority? There are four fraternities and five sororities on campus and opportunities to join each semester. For more information about Greek Life, click here.

The University Activities Board (UAB) is the programming organization for the student body. This group is responsible for bringing famous bands, acts and speakers to campus. UAB has 10 separate committees that work together to build a successful programming schedule for students' enjoyment.

If you are interested in leadership and service, then you may decide that joining Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD) is best for you. LEAD is committed to creating programs that provide service and leadership opportunities to the student body and help address areas of need in our community.

Student Senate consists of 21 elected Clarion University students, who represent the entire student body and allocate the Student Activity Fee. They hold public meetings at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays in 246 Gemmell.

Each of these groups and many more organizations exist on our 128-acre campus that is tucked among the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania with the added convenience of the nearby Clarion River and Cook Forest State Park. So when you're not busy on campus, adventure is waiting for you off campus with hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking opportunities.

No matter what you choose to do with your spare time, Clarion provides a variety of opportunities to meet the extracurricular needs of our students.
