Commuting to Campus?
Welcome! Whether you’re an undergraduate living at home, a graduate student renting your own place, or an adult learner who is taking some extra credits to get ahead in your job, you are part of the PennWest Clarion community.
As a commuter student, you’ll have full access to the same services and supports as students who live on campus. Take advantage of our academic advising and career and professional services, our health and wellness services and Clarion’s wide range of clubs, organizations and recreation opportunities.
Your success, both in and out of the classroom, is our top priority.
Make the Gemmell Student Center Your Home Away From Home
Gemmell Student Center is the hub for commuter services and home to many offices, organizations and activities that that support student life on campus! You’ll find the commuter parking lot conveniently located right next to the building.
Grab coffee and snacks on the first floor, then head upstairs to the second floor Commuter Lounge. There are lockers to store your stuff, TV screens for group study or gaming. Check out the Information Desk on what events are happening on campus or to pick up some study supplies, games or racquetball equipment.
Eagle Dollars
Eagle Dollars are connected to your student ID. Use them like cash on campus at The Clarion Store, vending machines, food service locations and more. Or off-campus at CVS, Sheetz, McDonald’s, Subway and the University Korner.
Stay Informed
Download the CORQ app and keep up to date on all the events and activities on campus.
Get Involved
Consider joining a club or organization. The University Activities Board (UAB) is a great choice. You’ll get to know a lot of people and can assist with programming.
