Minor in Music

The music minor offers students who do not seek a career in music a chance to continue their formal music training while cultivating a greater appreciation of music. A mixture of required courses and elective courses in music theory, music history, instrumental and vocal techniques, and applied music insure a breadth of music coverage. Most courses are taken alongside music majors. Students electing the music minor are assigned a music faculty member to serve as an advisor for the music minor. This minor is offered only at the Clarion campus.
