Learning Technology Center
welcome to the LTC!
At the Learning Technology Center (LTC), we provide resources, support and professional development for faculty to assist with the integration of technology and instructional design principles into the teaching and learning process, both online and in the classroom. Additionally, we support a variety of instructional technologies for faculty and staff campus-wide.
The LTC STAFF are trained in both the pedagogical benefits and implementation of technology as
well as troubleshooting tech issues. Along with course design, we assist faculty in
course management and choosing effective applications to enhance learning.
In addition, the goal of the LTC is to research, investigate, pilot, and evaluate
new and emerging technologies to facilitate innovative teaching and learning methods.
Members of the LTC share their knowledge and experience with the university teaching
community and disseminate this research at conferences.
The LTC is a unit within the Center for Computing Services. We have the following regularly-scheduled services to assist faculty:
DROP-In
Tech Tuesdays | 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Drop in Still G-13 any Tuesday to discuss your D2L, course design, or teaching with technology questions. This is the perfect time to learn something new or get instructional technology support without an appointment.

Faculty First Fridays | Noon - 1:30
Typically the first Friday of every month, these informal sessions feature a current teaching topic of interest. The session is designed to provide a space and time for faculty to connect, share and learn from one another. Coffee and cookies are provided, and attendees are encouraged to brown bag lunch.
First Friday events are announced via the All-L list service, the LTC newsletter, and department flyers.
