Mathematics Club

The Mathematics Club was established to further the understanding and appreciation of mathematics and its related disciplines. The club serves its membership through national affiliations; student, faculty, and professional presentations; and attendance at local and regional conferences.

Periodically, the Mathematics Club and/or the Mathematics Department faculty invites a speaker to speak on behalf of a particular topic. These topics include the use of mathematics outside of a classroom and career options for mathematics majors.

Membership is unbiased and open to anyone with an interest in mathematics or science in general. The Mathematics Club usually meets at 11 a.m. every other Tuesday in STC 145. The meetings are open to everyone.
