 This page is intended to share resources that may help you through the Admissions process related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

is the office of admissions still open?

The Office of Admissions is still open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with limited staff on site.

are admissions staff available for questions?

Yes! The Office of Admissions staff are still available to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Staff may not be on campus at this time but will be working remotely on a regular schedule.

Admitted & prospective Student Questions

Is May 1 still the decision deadline for fall 2020?

We have extended the decision deadline to June 1, 2020.

Is May 1 still the scholarship deadline for fall 2020?

We have extended the scholarship deadline to June 1, 2020.

Can I still apply to Clarion for Fall 2020?

Yes. Clarion has a rolling Admissions process, you can still apply for Fall 2020 online using our mobile friendly application.

What events have been impacted or cancelled?

We have cancelled all Admissions events through April 30, 2020. At this time, all events past April 30 are still planned as scheduled.

how can i send transcripts to clarion?

Work with your school counselor or Registrar Office (transfer students) to have them sent electronically to admissions@clarion.edu.

My SAT/ACT date was cancelled

For students who are unable to sit for SAT or ACT due to cancellations/postponing of test dates, we will review applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher based on their high school performance without test scores. This includes students who were planning on taking the SAT/ACT for the first time and those retesting.

I'm taking my Advanced Placement (ap) exam online, will you still accept my score?

We will award credit based on the College Board recommended score. To learn more about how AP scores may be accepted at Clarion, view our AP Credit guide.

I've submitted my admissions deposit, now what?

Are Summer Orientations still scheduled?

Clarion University has decided to shift all face-to-face Summer Orientation Sessions to a new online modality. Please view our Orientation page for the most up to date information.

When can I apply to Clarion for Fall 2021?

The Fall 2021 application will be available online starting April 17, 2020. Review of applicants will begin in July.
