Graduates of this program are able to teach Grades 4 through 8. Graduates have a specialty such as English language and reading, mathematics, science or social studies.

Like other education majors, student teaching is required. Students are expected to earn 12 credits of student teaching.

The first stop for necessary paperwork, clearances and testing before the student teaching experience may begin.
