VENANGO CAMPUS TRANSITION
Cultural and economic growth in Venango County will get a boost under a plan developed by the Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry and Tourism and Pennsylvania Western University Clarion for the university’s Venango property.
Starting in fall 2024, pending approval by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the Associate of Science in Nursing will relocate to the Clarion campus.

PLAN YOUR VISIT to VENANGO
PennWest Clarion – Venango is scenically located on 65 acres of wooded hillside overlooking the Allegheny River in Oil City, Pennsylvania. The campus has an enrollment of 150 students and is the longest established branch campus in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The site is solely dedicated to the education and training of future registered nurses through the highly ranked Associate of Science in Nursing program.

To register for a campus visit, sign up below through our event registration. We may not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors.
check for covid-19 symptoms
We ask you to perform a COVID-19 symptom assessment before arriving on campus. Please refrain from visiting campus if you do not feel well or if you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19.
on the day of your visit
On the day of your scheduled campus visit, please check-in at the Admissions Office, 200 Frame Hall, no more than 10 minutes prior to your visit time. Additional information on arriving to campus will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.
