Careers
Management involves planning, organizing, leading and controlling an organization's
human, financial and information resources to efficiently achieve goals. A manager
is responsible for achieving results through the efforts of other people, whether
individually, in groups or in organizations. This is especially true for entrepreneurs,
who wear multiple hats within their companies. Our management students develop the
skills needed for success as entrepreneurs and managers in companies of all sizes.
Marketing is more than your favorite television commercial. Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods and services and is crucial to every type of company. Our marketing students develop a strong foundation in marketing problem solving, marketing research and international marketing.
Human Resource Management works to establish the terms and conditions of employment and the employer-employee relationship. It also establishes the rules for interaction at the workplace and in society. Interest in HRM has increased significantly over the years, due in part to the growth of government legislation and regulation. Private and public employers' growing awareness of employee rights and needs also has had a great impact on the field.
Graduates from our Management & Marketing programs are employed in a variety of professional fields including:
- Personnel manager
- Planner
- Operations manager
- Business manager
- Owner/entrepreneur
- Manager of small business
- Employment interviewer
- Job analyst
- Labor relations
- Training and development specialist
- Sales representative
- Social media specialist
- Project manager

- Public Relations Director
- Marketing specialist
