Allied Health

The Allied Health program has two degree options

These programs are offered on the Venango campus and Online. Please see individual program pages for location of the specific program you are interested in.

The Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Leadership online degree is geared toward those who wish to become health care managers, supervisors and administrators.

ATHLETIC TRAINING

The Master of Science in Athletic Training includes 58-credits across 24-months and emphasizes interdisciplinary/cross-curriculum opportunities to collaborate with professionals on campus and throughout the community.

Students may complete the graduate degree in two years after completing a four-year degree regionally accredited four-year institution or complete the 3+2 Accelerated MSAT, which means students would complete a Master of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Fitness in five years.

Medical Imaging

With this education, you can be employed as a radiologic technologist (x-ray technologist) or as a diagnostic medical sonographer (ultrasound technologist).

Clarion also offers an online bachelor's degree completion program for medical imaging professionals who are already credentialed radiologic technologists, diagnostic medical sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, radiation therapists, or medical dosimetrists.

NUTRITION AND FITNESS

The Nutrition and Fitness program focuses on nutrition, physiology, and the numerous connections to health, wellness, fitness, and sport.  This major prepares students for employment in clinical, commercial fitness, strength and conditioning, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and corporate or community-based wellness and fitness professions.

Respiratory Care

Clarion University's Associate of Science in Respiratory Care program prepares students to be registered respiratory therapists. Respiratory care practitioners (respiratory therapists) evaluate and care for individuals who have breathing and other cardiopulmonary ailments ranging from moderate to life-threatening. This program is offered only at the Venango campus location.

SPORT MANAGEMENT

Clarion University's Bachelor of Science in Sport Management program prepares students for employment in athletic administration at the youth, scholastic, collegiate and professional levels as well as facility and personnel management for various types of sport and recreation facilities.

INTEGRATIVE STUDIES

Integrative Studies is a multidisciplinary degree that allows students flexibility to create an individualized program of study to suit their academic interests and career goals. It provides a structured program that encourages students to engage in a variety academic disciplines while simultaneously directing a focused pursuit of one particular specialty area.
