Student Teaching Abroad

Student teach abroad and make the world your classroom!

Clarion University’s Office of International Programs offers opportunities to complete your student teaching in multiple locations abroad.  Learn as you teach in a new country with this eight-week experience in student teaching that will also provide a knowledge of the country and culture.

This experience is offered to students in teacher preparation programs who:

  • Have completed program admission and have passed all required tests (including Praxis II or PECT).
  • Placements are dependent on your major as some schools will only take a particular grade level.
  • Begin the planning process early.
  • Have the financial resources for tuition, housing, application, additional living expenses.

Applications are due Jan. 30 for the fall semester and Sept. 30 for the spring semester.
